Anybody tried?
Like four years in a row..
Especially math or physics stuff.

isnt that the maximum, that would be a crazy semester

Most colleges set their max at 18-20. So 24 would seem like a lot. But if you know yourself well and your limits and think you can do that, and you're not doing any other activites, and you are willing to pay for the overload, then go for it. Honestly, it's all your call.

Yes, 24 is absolutely too much unless you want to do nothing but study, have no social life, give up on sleep, and basically be miserable. Why do you need to take almost 200 credits over the course of 4 years? Most colleges only require between 120-135 credit hours to graduate, and even if you were triple majoring, you likely wouldn't need more than 175 unless your majors were completely unrelated (like you were a electrical engineering/sociology/guitar performance major).

^is there such a thing as triple majors? Becuase I would honestly love to do business, econ and math but I thought it was impossible.

Im a triple major and so was My RA, same setup as you want. Thogh he has Comp Sci in there also. a Junior with 242 credits lol

Triple majors are rare, but possible. You may have to stay during an extra summer or year, though, if you don't have it all planned out from the beginning.

Wait, doesn't everyone want to design politically correct instruments?

UB-vinny freally? thats awesome. And how do you manage? Like how much study time do you need? Do still have time to party? thanks a lot. I've been wondering about this topic for months.

I've already taken into consideration the possibility of an extra year and I'm 100% ok with doing 5 instead of 4 years. Because anyways doing thsoe 3 majors in my country would take me about 8 years so 5 is great by my standards.

I dont party, never been to one and dont actually ever plan to.

Im Computer/Electrical Engineering and Computer science, while thee things are very closely related, they are still sperate fields, enogh so that I will get 3 degree's.

If I take 1 more class in Math such as cryptography, I am a Math Minor, want me to join on the CSE B.S/M.S degree option its 134 credits compared to 126. I really only have to take like 8 more classes which is like another year which I dont mind to get

B.S
Computer Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Computer Science

M.S
Computer Engineering

Minor
Math

I personnaly think its worth it. Sadly today 1 degree is not enogh this is why most asian and middle eastern students who come from very densly populated regions around the world, like Tokyo, Delhi and such, must be the best of the best to get the jobs. Im guessing its only time till america is like this.

"I dont party, never been to one and dont actually ever plan to."

Wow..... IMO development of social skills is a very important part of job skills

^absolutely. I like studying and all, and I feel a deep passion for econ and math and such, but I still want to have a life beyond books. I'm the kind of person who NEEDS to party so I can relieve some of the pressure..... I guess if that truly is the way one must study to egt a triple major, I'll just do a double major now in econ and math and later on in my life get a biz degree....life is truly to short to spend it all studying ( note that I didn't say waste, becuase to each his own, thats just my view on the issue at hand).

the only way to develop social skills is to go to parties?

I have good social skills, just dont see a need to go to parties.

and i dont really keep my head in the books as I dont even study that much.

I've taken 21 credits plus worked 15-20 hours a week....I was stressed, but I worked my ass off and got all As. And I party and have a social life.

So I think if you don't have a job or are extremely talented at time management, you would be able to handle it just fine. Taking less than 17 credits just seems boring to me.....I am weird like that and enjoy taking classes that aren't even required though...

partying and social skills are not the same. i wouldnt say my social skills are inept and i have gone to 1 high school party and hated it.

24 credits is alot. esp. if they are physics and math those classes are challenging.

My mother took 22 credits a semester and got her BS in three years. She was also the lead in many plays but had a 3.9 gpa. It has been a long time since she has been in college but if it was doable then, it should be doable now. I plan on starting at 15 hours and then up to 18 or twenty if I think I can handle it so that I can triple major or double major double minor.
