Is taking 3 engineering classes practical?

3 hrs- Numerical Methods
3 hrs- Engineering Physics 2
3 hrs- Mechanics of Solids

I have already taken and failed Numerical Methods.

Numerical and Solids are over the course of 10 weeks, although Physics is only during the last 5 weeks of summer.

Is taking 9 hrs in the summer doable? or too much?

I suspect much depends upon the professors for the specific classes. Honestly, the professor is what makes the course hard or easy. I recommend checking ratemyprofessor.com or speak to other students who might have taken the course over a previous summer session. Also, speak to the individual professors themselves, ask them their opinions.

The true danger of summer sessions is that you have zero ability to fall behind…
