I’m not sure if all high schools offer biomed as a class in their school but from what I heard, it’s a medical science class that is weighted and has a big test at the end of the year similar to an AP class but much easier on the workload. This class is offered to all grades in the high school and I see a lot of freshmen taking it.
Although I’m not sure if it is a good idea to take biomed with AP calculus and AP art studio in my schedule considering I’m going into my junior year and hearing everyone say it’s the hardest year so that makes me a little afraid of even the regular core classes.
I’m strong in both math and art but with the workload of those classes, I’m scared about cramming biomed into my schedule as well. What are your thoughts?
This is really a school specific question, but since freshmen and sophomores can take it, there’s no reason a junior would find it too hard!
Make sure you have each of the core classes* before taking an elective though.
