I'm a senior this year, and I'm wondering if I should take either one of the exams before sending applications to colleges (I'm NOT an ESL student, by the way)....

Well, some schools are fine with your not taking TOEFL as long as you have 600+ CR on the SAT. I guess you should check the policy of each of your colleges and see if TOEFL is required. Nevertheless, i think it’s better to take the exam. This way colleges can get more information about you

No, there’s no need for TOEFL if you’re American and go to school in America. It’s really only for people outside the united states; to make sure they’re at least proficient in English.

Oh, I thought Legend’s Return was an international. My bad.

:) That’s Ok.

In UPenn’s website, it stated that “all applicants whose native language is not an english must take TOEFL test.” However, I have lived in U.S. for more than 6 years, so I am not sure if I still have to take it. Some say that I don’t have to take, but others say that I need to… Any advice?

My ethnicity is Asian, by the way.

Contact UPenn about that. They will be the ones who know where you fit in their policy.
