<p>I've heard a lot of people saying the the engineering school at TAMU is competitive. TAMU is my top choice right now, but I'm worried that because I'm applying somewhat late (my last document will be processed tomorrow) I might not get into ChemE. I'm in the top 4% and have a 2120/1380 SAT.</p>
<p>Apply now and you should be good. Remember they no longer admit to a specific area only to general engineering.</p>
