Is that possible?

I'm an international student, applying for some master programs. I was wondering if I get rejected by my "dream schools" and get accepted by another school I'm applying to, can I start studying there and transfer after one year (if the dream school accepts me then, of course)??

And if I don't get accepted anywhere, is there anything I can do instead of giving up the whole idea about going to grad school in the US? (It's not possible for me to just wait one year and doing nothing or work, because of the support payments I receive)..
I heard about Community Colleges, but I think that's only for people who want to do their bachelor's degree, right?

Thanks so much for helping me!

No. Masters program are for one or two years, which aren’t really very long. It’s really unheard of to transfer unless there’s something at the dream school that has something that the other program absolutely does not have. Good grad programs really try to work out any concerns that you might have. To transfer for superfical reasons won’t be enough of a reason…
