Is the 3-2 Program for engineeri good?

since not only i will get liberal arts degree from one college but also i will get an engendering degree from top colleges such as Colombia, Cornell etc… whats your opinion?

It sounds appealing at first. Conventional wisdom and CC peeps say ‘no’. Some of the reasons I’ve heard:

  • You will not want to leave your school and friends of 3 years
  • You may not have the engineering background after 3 years to compete with others who have been fed math/physics for 3 years

Call your potential LAC and ask them how many students end up successfully completing the 3-2 program.

There are LOTS of threads on this. Do a quick search and you will find that there aren’t many fans here.

Many, many opinions on this subject. Look it up.

By the way, the university on Morningside Heights in Manhattan is known as “COLUMBIA,” not Colombia. The later is a pesky little nation in South America.

lol i was typing so fast that i couldn’t give attention to that, thanks mate!
