Is the acceptence rate the same in Columbia College and SEAS?

I want to major in physics, maybe in applied physics. But some teachers in my school told me that the acceptence rate in SEAS is much lower than that of Columbia College. Is there really such a big difference? If so, is it easy for students in Columbia College to transfer to SEAS after one or two years study?
Can anyone give some suggestions?
Thanks.

It’s the other way around. SEAS has a slightly higher acceptance rate than the College.

The SEAS acceptance rate is a little bit higher than the college (8.9% versus ~12%) because the SEAS applicant pool is much more self-selecting (with higher GPAs and SAT scores, etc.)

The acceptance rate for SEAS is higher than CC.

CC - 6.4%
SEAS - 9.9%

Karry you have it backwards.
