how is it ranked among other programs in the country? thanks for all your responeses !

hmm not in the top 40 I know that for sure, no clue where it’s actual rank is though

so um does that mean its no good? like can i still get a good well paying job after graduation ?

This doesn’t really answer your question, but I’d say Rose-Hulman is the best for aerospace.

oo where is that? and how about embry-riddle. i got accepted there today and am still awaiting a response from penn state, how are those schools?

what do you guys think of the penn sttate program ?

elpz, do not worry too much about rankings, particularly in Engineering. Charles Vest, President of MIT from 1990-2004, got his BS in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia. It is not great, but it is certainly respectable.

If you are really serious about Aerospace, check out Purdue-West Lafayette.

so no matter where i go for an aerospace engineering degree i can still have equal oppurtunities at well paying jobs ? or does the university affect my career after i graduate? and thanks for all your help guys you are all helping me alot :)

elpz, where you get your degree from does matter, particularly when you graduate. But it is not the be-all, end-all. If you get the chance of studying at a top program like Purdue, go for it. But attending a school like West Virginia will still provide you with a good Engineering education and with career opportunities when you graduate.

I would recommend majoring in Mechanical Engineering as an undergrad. It opens more doors.

alrigh thanks i will take that into consideration, right now i have these three schools to choose from, west virginia, embry riddle, and penn state. which do you think would lead to the best future for me? number them from one to three please if you can thanks alot

Assuming finances aren’t a concern, I would say go for Penn State. But ask around as I am no expert in Engineering.

I’d say Embry Riddle

thanks alot ill keep this updated yu guys were a real help.
