Is the Aleks test timed?

Are individual questions timed, or the whole test, or neither?
In other words, if there is a problem I can't recall how to do, do I have time to look in a textbook to refresh?

when do you take the ALEKS??? i think i have to take it to for my calculus class.

You take it anytime online, before classes start. I also have to take it and need to know if it’s timed.

No, not exactly. If you take a long time on a single question, it will give you easier questions, instead of the harder questions, which will lower your score slightly, but as far as having a set amount of time to complete the test or a single question, no, it is not timed.

Also, if you do get a low score, you can do the learning modules to raise your score. These are also not timed, and you can take up to six weeks to complete the entire course. I had to take the chemistry exam, and made about a 30% on it. After a week, I am currently at an 80%. The lessons are very easy to learn, and you can change the order according to your skill level or preferences.
