Taking it Friday and kinda stressing, what did you all think?

The MC is extremely easy… and if you were somewhat conscious during the course you should breeze through it.

Its not about knowing everything… more it is being able to logically come to historical conclusion.

The FRQ’s are where you can tell if you learned anything. The DBQ (at least last year) was extremely generous with the Nixon topic + documents

yeah i’ve heard the Multiple choice part is really easy, but the DBQ/FRQ’s are harder. I’m not too worried about the exam though.

It’s light work to get a 5.
Get 60/80 multiple choice right, and get 5’s on all your writing. That is a couple points above a 5.

Even lighter to get a 4.
Get 40/80 multiple choice right, and get 5’s on all your writing.
Get 50/80 multiple choice right, and get 4’s on all your writing.

The curve is REALLY generous. Since it’s the most widely taken AP exam, they curve it so that a sizable amount (11%) receive 5s.

Alright cool, thanks guys. I’ll still be glued to my history book tonight and tomorrow Good luck to anyone taking it out there! And I’m glad to hear about the curve thanks @cantconcentrate

So I’ve been in regular U.S. history all year with a teacher notorious for making it a slacker class (I’m acing all the tests but still just getting an A- because I slack with busywork). I just read all of the REA Crash Course chronological review in 3 hours today and I plan on getting through the “Key Themes and Facts” section soon as well. I’m a very good writer (5 on my mock AP Lang exam which was the actual 2011 test) so I might be able to BS some of the DBQ/FRQ.

Think I can pull off a 3? I have a bet with my friends who are actually taking APUSH so I have a couple of dollars on the line…

Since you’ve taken it now, how do you think you did? I think the multiple choice would have been really easy if my teacher actually taught some of that stuff >_> but, knowing what generally happened in that time period helped a lot.

I thought the essays were really easy but, I ended up finishing about 20 minutes before time. Is that a good or a bad thing?

APUSH exam is easy if you know how to write good essays and have been studying
