IS the Athletic Supplement for High SChool sports, or for Club Sports?

I am on my high school's swim team, and I am on a YMCA swim team. Can I include both in my athletic supplement?

Is this new for 2010-2011? I don’t recall this when D applied last year.

The Supplement for Athletics is only required by certain schools…
If you read the sports selections
it asks for VARSITY sports,
then coach info etc # of varsity letters earned, stats, times etc.

There are no selections for club sports so I dont know how you would edit that to correct that you swim for the Y

There are a few parents here of swimmers
and also there is a swim coach who regularly posts in this forum. Hopefully that CCer will see this and can chime in for you and give you some good advice.

Where is this athletic supplement found? Is it part of the main common app or part of the individual schools’ supplement?

Found this on a google search: Should I fill out an optional athletic supplement? If you anticipate participating in varsity athletics, print and complete the Common Application Athletic Supplement. List team sports played in order of importance to you. Check year(s) of participation; indicate letters earned and leadership positions. Include the name of your coach(es). Check specific college information in the Requirements Grid or on the college’s own website to ensure a member institution uses this form. You should also make contact with coaches directly, and fill out online Prospective Athlete forms available on the college websites.

(the website is mycollegestreet.com … not sure if I am allowed to say that here but I’ll try!)
