Is the blue book outdated for the newer SAT tests?

I've been practicing with the blue book for a while now and I've realized that the math is too easy while on the newer tests (March 2013) the math is more thinking based. I don't know if it's just me during the day of the test or if there is truly a discrepancy between the tests.

Did anyone else notice this?

No. I thought the March SAT math was on the easier side.

Perhaps you had an experimental math section and this is what seemed harder?

The March SAT math must be very easy that the curve looks horrible.

Absolutely not. The Blue Book was my main SAT prep guide, and I found its tests to be far more realistic than any of the other resources I tried. For math, I found Barron’s practice tests to be significantly more difficult and Kaplan’s to be significantly easier than the actual SAT. Gruber’s and the Blue Book were roughly equivalent, give or take some outlying problems. (Gruber’s had its own set of issues, including a couple strange and difficult CR sections.)

It was probably just me. I was just nervous that it was my first SAT.
