<p>Hey people, I keep hearing how horrible the financial aid packages are at NYU. Is it really that bad? The average debt after graduation is about 47k, sure it is above average, but certainly decent considering the tuition per year is higher than it. So students of NYU, what is your take on this? I would really like help because I've applied to this school and I'm sure ill get in. It is the $$$ factor that worries me.</p>

<p>You can always apply for scholarships. But NYU is not that stingy with financial aid to everyone. Between their financial aid package to me, government grants, and scholarships I have earned over my high school career - it made going to NYU very flexible. Just make sure to submit your CSS/FAFSA on-time to maximize the amount of money you can receive. :)</p>
