Is the French SAT 2 with out listening also offered in November?

I have taken one SAT 2 so far and when I was there the proctor mentioned that we could take more SAT subject tests than we signed up for or a different one altogether. Firstly, does that still apply? I know they bill you for it later but that is not a problem.

I know the French SAT 2 with listening is only offered in November and I have been planning to take that one but if I get there and decide not to can I just take the French without listening or is that not offered. Is only the French with listening offered in November?

French is not my first language but in general I understand pretty well. I have also heard from my non-fluent friends that listening is easier but others have told me the regular test without listening is easier. Any thoughts and opinions?

Thanks!

Yes, you’re allowed to take more tests than you’ve signed up for. I signed up for just Math II but ended up taking Math I and Literature as well. No languages yet, though, haha.

I think they’re both offered. I’m not sure you’d be able to take French and French with Listening at the same session, if you were planning that, but I think you can take either one.

In my experience, language tests without listening are easier. God, the listening and speaking sections of the Japanese AP were a nightmare while the reading and writing parts were easy… But I’m a more visual person than most. Similarly, I think it depends on your strengths.
