Is the Integrated Science Program..

.. a lonely program? haha I know this sounds wierd, but my Mom suggested that I look into it, and it seemed interesting until I read that there are only about 85 kids in ISP (about 25 or 30 entering freshman) and all, except 1 or 2, of your classes are with ISP kids.

That being said, do you really get the "college experience" by just taking classes with mostly the same 30 or so people (assuming you have the classes with other freshman)? Would it limit you as to how many people you are exposed to/can make friends with?

haha yeah, probably a studpid question, but I just had to ask.

Almost all ISP students double-major and therefore they take many classes with non-ISP students also.

My S (who has just about decided now to come to NU and the ISP) spoke with three different students in the ISP. They indicated there are lots of opportunities outside of ISP to interact with other students, primarily via your housing arrangement and outside EC activities, which are abundant. One of the students is double majoring in ISP and anthropology. Her research activity takes her into Chicago several times a week, providing a chance to interact with people off campus as well.
