I want to be a pharmacist but I've recently heard there's just too many now...
so i was wondering if anyone would suggest i rethink the idea?

The market is bad, I work as a Pharm Tech and the lead pharmacist told me not to pick it as a career. More than half the pharmacy is automated via bar codes, scanners, automatic counters/dispensers, etc etc. Their job is terribly boring, and I know first hand that the Pharmacist is 2nd in command to the doctor.

As a 6th year student, we keep hearing the market is getting worse and worse. It doesn’t terrible though. If you really want to be a pharmacist, by all means, go for it.

I am a registered pharmacist and I used to get postcards from headhunters on a regular basis. I haven’t gotten any in the last couple of years.

Maybe try computer science.
