In a last ditch effort to prepare for the ACT, I was taking a practice test in the Kaplan ACT book. I did the English section in the second practice test and as I was checking it I found that there were about 12-15 questions in a row in the middle of the section where I had missed nearly all of them. Now, I'm pretty decent at the English section (I usually miss about 4 or less), so I was really surprised when I started missing all of these questions. Then, before checking the rest, I went back and was reading over the answers that they said were correct, but most of them seemed to make no sense at all. I didn't even finish checking it because it seemed like it was really screwed up. Has anyone else ever used this book, and if so, have you noticed many errors? I'm just wondering if it was me or Kaplan who really messed up.

My D also so got a really low score on ACT reading part of the Kaplan book. i was freaking out and the test is tommorrow. I think I have seen bad reviews about the Kaplan book.

The only book, that has any bearing is the "Real ACT Prep Guide".
