Yeah the Kaplan US history "curve" seems kind of generous. On my diagnostic I missed ~8 (I think) and got a 780. Does that sound about right?

That seems about right. In the "10 Real SAT IIs" book, you can miss 10 on the USH test and still get an 800.

Hott. (blah blah blah, ten word limit...)

Can anyone who has taken the real test confirm this? I always thought Math IIC was the most generous curve. So there are 50 questions right? Wow...that's A LOT you can miss!

There are 90 on the SAT II History. You can miss about 6-10 for an 800, depending on the individual test.

Yea I figured out the 90 part last night. I was getting confused between the history and the math. =0

Curves are similar for US and IIC
They are both approx. 90% right = 800

Math IIC = usually 5 wrong/ 50 questions = 800
USH = usually 8 wrong/ 80 questions = 800

Cool. Thanks everybody!
