I only know of one Conservative in my school... the lunch lady. I've yet to see a McCain-Palin sticker although i've seen plenty of Obama-Biden ones. I'm an apolitical person, so I support neither, however that might change once I become of age. What about you guys?

We have about 3,000 Obama supporters, 1,000 McCain supporters, and the other 2,000 have no idea who those people are.

But our Obama supporters are MUCH more active, so it seems like there's more.

my school has about 1700 kids... and 1600 couldnt tell you who the white guy running against obama is

Our school couldn't be split more evenly.

Someone mentions politics in a room, and everyone diverges to one of two sides. Commence heated debate.

the majority of my school is unconscious....

All of my teachers are democrats, and all the kids at my school are Obama lovers. Especially in my journalism class. Everyone is so liberal. I am a minority as one of the only Republicans there, so I feel that I shouldn't say anything since I am outnumbered. In TOK there arent many Conservatives.

definitely completely conservative...even though the majority of my friends are Obama supporters. I have yet to see another Obama-Biden sticker, though I've seen plenty of McCain/Palin stickers

My school is, I believe, about 85% full of mindless sheep that think they're liberal but they just think they are because they either don't care, or everyone else says they are.

But then again that's most high school!

Liberal, definitely.

Liberal!

I asked my AP World teacher today cause she mentioned something about Palin, and she's like well blah blah student relations and teachers shouldn't tell and blah blah then she's like oh the hell with it.. The answer, HELL NO I would never vote for McCain.
It was funny.

GOBAMA!

People at my school tend to say that they are liberal and democratic, but the majority of them don't even know what they are talking about :D

liberal, because they somehow think that's cooler! it's sad, really.

I really can't tell about this one...very big school.

Nobody cares...

and the few that do have a great Government teacher telling them not to make such broad, meaningless distinctions.

Yeah.. I go to high school so people are mostly apathetic

uh i can't even answer that question. at first i thought u mean liberal/conservative as in free-minded-spirited/close minded. haha

our newspaper has recently decided to actually do a mock poll sometime soon. i guess we'll find out who supports who or just simple who even CARES...or not

My school is in a VERY conservative town, and I think most kids are liberal just to rebel against their parents, but will eventually come around to realizing they're conservative. ALL the faculty are very liberal though, except one (and it's very well known that he's the only one because he's VERY open about his opinions).

Catholic school, hence conservative.

Generally liberal but the conservative presence is definitely felt. (I think that the conservatives are more vocal about their views because they are slightly but noticeably in the minority.)

Erm, fiscal or non-fiscal? I'll just go with republican v democrat, for now. ;]

My school's official position is extremely liberal on both counts (ie democrat? pretty much -- funny thing is that it's catholic, so in direct contradiction to post #18, haha), and almost all of our teachers are liberal (in the same way) as well.

Many of my friends are independent, although I think that there might be some peculiar Republican slant (only like 1 or 2 really are Republican, the rest are independent, although I can say with some certainty that they would probably NEVER vote for McCain/Palin, so in general there might be a small dem. lean, just not... officially -- they aren't really out there with it).

Lol, the student body seems to have more vocal mccain supporters, although all they really ever do is accuse obama supporters of random stupid things -- nobody, from what I can tell, actually knows wt f they're talking about.
