I imagine this could be asked in general, but the high sticker price of U of I’s OOS tuition is unfortunate. Does anyone know if they offer more aid than it seems to imply?
Net price calculator needs to be taken with a huge hunk of rock salt., imo. Sure, a starting point, but it isn’t rocket science to figure out what a school will cost YOU, which is what matters. Same goes for 1:1 comparison of schools; estimate based on current tuition-and remember there will be one or more tuition increases before you arrive on campus, tuition and fees for your program, likely room/board choices, and your financial package.As of August 24, UI had not yet posted the grid/requirements for its first year scholarships…meanwhile, other states give applicants much more solid and reliable info.
