Hello everybody,

It depends what score you are currently getting. If you are getting around the 500-600 range or less than this book is good but if you are getting higher than that then it is not as useful. The joe bloggs priniciple in this book is really helpful.Hope that helps :)

It has a lot of typos, that’s for sure.

Do not use it for practice tests. The College Board tests will be much more helpful.

I used the College Board Blue Book and it helped me tremendously. I took the SAT the first time and got 580 M, 680 CR, and 660 W. I then took every one of the practice tests (besides the writing section) within 2 months. I took the SAT a second time and got 700 M, 730 CR, 670 W. I’m fine with those scores, so I’m done.

TLDR: take the practice tests in the College Board official book and your scores will go WAY up

Well it isn’t worse than any other book out there, but I wouldn’t recommend using it. The only book outside of the BB that I’ve found helpful has been the Barrons 2400 book, but even that was no where near as good as the BB.
