Is the Real ACT Guide accurate?

I've been practicing out of it and it seems to be consistent with my real score when I took the ACT in March. I got a 28 then, and the first practice test I took I got a 29 and then today I got a 31.

Should I expect a better or worse score on the real thing?

It’s pretty accurate. Of course it also happens to be one of the only ACT books out there so any score on there is likely to be closer to the real thing. It also happens to be by the test makers themselves, so the type of practice you are getting is ensured to be close to the test.

Your results may vary by test because the difficulty may vary but you’ll get an understanding of what you need to practice on and what range you’ll be in. Keep on practicing

I exclusively studied with the practice tests and got a 33. It worked well for me.

Students generally consider “The real ACT prep guide” as the most accurate test book. Like shawnspencer said, other ACT prep books really don’t exist, so this book proves as accurate as it gets.

Thank you very much for the insight! I hope to get at least a 31, so it looks like I may be headed in that direction.
