Is the SAT more important than the ACT?

Do you think it would be alright to only send in my ACT scores without my SAT scores? I am asking this because I am an out of state student intrested in Emory, and most schools expect SAT scores from out of state students. I know that Emory says they would accept both, but how much so you think this plays a role in the admissions process?

I have yet to take either of the two but from practice I know I am stronger at one than the other.

Thanks in advance all

Never have I heard that only sending in your ACT scores will hurt you.

If they had a preference for the SAT over the ACT, I assume that they would make the SAT absolutely required, like some colleges do.

No, they don't care which you send them. One, the other, or both are all looked at equally.

Many southern schools place the ACT as high as or higher than SATs. If they aren't required, you should send whatever casts you in most favorable light.

I would just send both SAT and ACT

don't send both, send the one that is drastically higher than the other. However, Emory does recommend SAT 2s. If you send SAT 2s i don't think u'll get away with them not seeing all of your SAT scores, including SAT I.
