Is the SAT worth re-taking?

UMich is my dream school, but my GPA is a weakness.

Here’s a run-down:
UMIch re-calculated GPA: 3.63
SAT 1290 (650/640 1st attempt) 1460 (780/680 2nd attempt)
SAT II’s: Math 2 (730), Chem (720)
GPA has strong upward trend: 3.4 Freshman, 3.6 Sophomore, 3.8 Junior, etc.
Took AP Chem (3) and AP Psych (4) and honors english last year and I’m taking AP Lang, Calc BC, Physics 1, and CSP next year.

I can re-take the SAT, but only if I have to. If my time is better spent on other aspects of my application, I would rather spend my time on that. I just want to know if it’s worth retaking.

Oh Btw, I’m in-state

Michigan recalculates your GPA: A+, A and A- are all a 4.0…B+, B and B- are 3.00…C+, C, C- are 2.00. With this recalculation their posted average GPA is 3.88 for this past year. This may or may not help. I can’t speak for in state, but I would keep improving your grades they may want to see your mid terms to confirm the upward trend. SAT wouldn’t hurt to take again, IMO. Good luck!
