<p>is the student health center “on” your insurance plan? do students typically go there or should they just choose a regular doctor in town.</p>
<p>from what i can tell they will file insurance with several plans,but i don’t think it will be “in-network”.</p>
<p>my DD rarely gets sick, so it may not ever be an issue, but i thought i would try to figure it out ahead of time.</p>

<p>The SHC doesn’t show up on our plan as a group, but all but one of the doctors listed on the UA Health website are listed on our plan and also as accepting new students, which I figure is just as good.
I filled out the online form, choosing a specific doctor, and faxed it in - so all is good in theory!</p>

<p>Should I need to see a doctor at the SHC, most, if not all of them, accept my insurance plan. My plan doesn’t require me to choose a doctor, so I can see whomever accepts my insurance.</p>
<p>Your insurance probably covers other doctors in town should she need to see a specialist.</p>
