Is the Spring Term at UMich difficult?

Current freshman here at UMich. I have read other related threads but am still left a little clueless about the spring term. I am going to make my first College Confidential post a question that hopefully someone can answer: Taking 7 spring term credits - will this be very difficult?

In particular, I am thinking of Stats 425 and Math 217.

-Are these courses usually curved? (I'm thinking that it may vary professor to professor)
-Are they normally difficult to get As in?
-Will it become extremely difficult to get any form of an A in each of these classes b/c they will be super fast-paced?

I've heard that Stats 425 is not too bad for those who have had Stats background, and that Math 217 is much easier than, say multivariable calculus (Honors esp.).

Any insight on this? Please and thank you!

Any insight whatsoever on this would be appreciated!!

I am trying to figure out my spring/summer planning and whether or not it would be possible to do two math courses in one spring term.

PLEASE & THANK YOU!

Spring semester is probably about the same difficulty as any other semester. Just twice the pace and half the classes normally. Neither of those are particularly hard classes, you should be fine. It would be similar to taking 14 credit in a normal semester.

Thanks, Vladenschlutte. Do you happen to know if the grades in these two classes would be curved (either during a regular full term or during the spring term)?
