Is the world History sat 2 a joke or is it easy?

ive heard multiple stories on the world history sat 2. some say its a complete joke, while others say it is harder than the actual ap exam. so for those of you who took the world history sat2, was it easy or hard? How did you prepare for it? what was your score? any suggestions of what topics i should focus on??..thanks!

oh by the way i meant is the world history sat 2 a joke, or is it hard..sorry..lol

My friend got a 5 on the World History AP test and took the SAT II World History and got a 620 on it. Although the two tests were about 1 month apart. I hope that helps.

I took the APWH exam and the SATII, I got a 5 on the exam and a 630 on the satII, then again I didn't study for the SATII because it was a last minute thing. From what I recall, the SATII questions can be really detailed orientated whereas the AP questions are a bit more general and broad.

Preparation for the World History SAT II test is completely different from the AP Test. While the AP test focuses more on broad topics with discussion, the SAT II test focuses more on fact recall (and logic in my opinion).

Do NOT read an AP book for preparation. The two tests are not to be used in comparison. Rather, read Barron's SAT II World History Book even though it is entirely boring. I also read REA World History.

Because I am a huge procrastinater, I started reading on the weekend before the test and seriously on the day before (I read the entire Kaplan's book). I received a 770 score.

The SAT II World History test is, in my opinion, harder than the AP test since it requires more fact recall and memorization. (I suggest that you avoid the archetypal European history while reviewing [Renaissance, Reformation, French Revolution] and focus more on the vague topics like African, Muslim, Oriental, and Polynesian civilization. The test has a little bit on everything, so try to have a general understanding on the world.

i heard it's very hard

thx....then it looks like i will have a harder time with the ap exam....i hate those 'broad' topics...i just like to memorize....and recant....lol....PEOPLE I STILL NEED MORE ADVICE

juventus10 is a joke
