<p>Compared to other BA/BS-DDS programs, the answer is no. NYU dental school is average. It’s also known to be extremely expensive. Anyways, if you’re looking for “prestige”, then you might as well as stop thinking about dental school; you will want that MD title to look “prestigious” in society (not saying dentists are thought lowly of, but MD’s are more respected).</p>
<p>Still committed to being a dentist? Then, it’s really a matter of preference. Prestige is a matter of opinion. In my opinion, the DDS degree from UMB/Harvard will end up being similar to that of NYU; however, that’s only based on my goals. I simply want to become a dentist to make money. On the other hand, you might be different. Do you want to be the top of the top? How far will you make use of your degree?</p>
