I took three ap exams this year (Calc BC, Chem, Comp Sci)
and i just found the scores, but one score seems very very off. (Comp sci)
I predicted a 4 after comparing my frqs and I am 100% sure I did every problem correctly
(except gridworld) mc wasnt that bad, either!!
but according to the call, I got a 2. I am so sad and angry and confused right now.
Is there a chance that this is an error? I cannot believe this!
I need at least 4 . . T_T
has anything like this happened to you guys before?

I’m in the same situation as you. I expected at least a 4 on AP Spanish Language but it turns out that I got a 2; I was in disbelief when I heard the score through the telephone. I am submitting a rescore request tomorrow and I suggest that if you feel as strongly about this is I do, you should submit one too.

Thank you . maybe I should submit a rescore thingy too . T_T

The only downside is that it costs $25 and I don’t believe you get refunded if there is a positive score change.

@NYEM: I think the value in it is if you get a higher score [assuming your college would grant you credit], you could forgo a class and possibly save around one grand.

theres also the possibility that both of you aren’t as good at the certain subject as you think you are, or you just don’t know when you dont do well

^That’s always a possibility, but after taking multiple practice tests my teacher and I were sure that I would get around a 4.

My son got a 1 in Calculus AB. He is devastated. Did well in the class and got 3s and 4s on practice tests. Definitely doing a rescore. Isn’t a 1 the equivalent of bubbling your name and address?

^I believe so.

Is there any possibility of getting a lower grade after the rescore (assuming that you did not get a 1 initially)?

^I’ve seen lots of posts about higher scores and unchanged scores, but I’ve never seen a score dropped. Theoretically, it is still possible, but it’s well worth the chance if your score’s already low and you won’t get credit for it. If it goes up, you’ll get credit, but if it goes down, then you still don’t get credit. Nothing to lose except your money.

^Thanks, I was just wondering because I also had never heard of anyone’s score being lowered.

OP: since you have a 2, I would suggest that you do get a rescore as you really have nothing to lose, but keep in mind that the rescore only applies to the MC section of your test. So unless you erased a lot or the computer made a huge mistake, your score will likely stay the same.

Same type of thing happened to me! I got a 2 in Mechanics when I am sure I should have gotten at least a 3, at the very least. For sure gonna do a rescore!
