Is there a core curriculum at CU?

<p>As a freshman and/or sophomore do you have to take a core curriculum or do you actually get to choose most of your courses? </p>

<p>Exclude: Writing i know they mandate a writing course.</p>

<p>depends on which college you’re in, if you are in hotel school for example, i think they preenroll you in everything, whereas in cas you pretty much choose everything.</p>

<p>there is no core at cornell (i.e. no basic courses EVERYONE takes). </p>

<p>you can copy another school’s core curriculum and do it on your own here.</p>
