<p>Does handwriting notes actually benefit you more than typing?</p>

<p>For notes, it does not help me at all-- too much information at once to really be gaining the benefits from writing. But when I am studying, I will write out very brief key points, analogies, pneumonics, etc, by hand to help with memory. I have a close to photographic memory and the picture is a little clearer if I write it by hand, probably because I spend more time looking at it to write it. But I type my notes, for me there is no benefit in writing them by hand.</p>
