Is there a difference between AOP and NSO?

MSU’s office of admissions has closed for the day so I can’t call. Does anyone know the difference between Advanced Orientation Program and New Student Orientation? I’m transferring and tried signing up for NSO, but got directed to a page that wants to charge me $50 for AOP. Is this $50 a part of the $250 Advanced Enrollment Deposit?

AOP and NSO are the same thing. They changed the name from Academic Orientation Program (AOP) to New Student Orientation (NSO) for 2019. Your Advanced Enrollment Deposit does include your fee for orientation. If you had an application fee waiver, the normal $250 AED is deferred and only $50 is required to deposit at MSU.
