If you're an excellent musician, I think you'd want to use all that work for an auditioned program? Those programs that want an audition --what do they want the audition to show? Does it make the program better if it has highly trained musicians?

Is there a difference between Music Bus. and Music Industry? Why do some programs require auditions?

A lot of it depends on what department the music business program is housed. For example, at NYU, the music business program is in the music dept at Steinhardt and you are awarded a BM degree. You take performance classes as part of your requirements along with all the other performance majors. Thus they ask for an audition tape to make sure you have enough musical background to earn the BM degree.
