Is there a disadvantage to this?...

OR am I even allowed to do this?

Under the FERPA Waiver I want to mark "No, I do not waive my right to access, and I may someday choose to see this form or any other recommendations or supporting documents submitted by me or on my behalf to the institution at which I'm enrolling, if that institution saves them after I matriculate."

...

Because who knows what I'll need in my future..BUTTT,, will that "no" make a big difference?

Thanks!

Ive wondered about this also.
I chose that i trust my recommenders enough to waive my access

Colleges generally prefer it if you waive your rights. And really, I can’t think of any reason why you would ever need to see your letters of recommendation after you’re accepted.

Is it legal for a high school college office to refuse to send a student’s files unless they check DO WAIVE?
