Is there a good way to organize your applications?

Hi guys,

With so many apps and financial aid forms to fill in, I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice on how to organize my apps? I don't want to leave this college behind and filling in the wrong name for that wrong college.

I bought a folder for each college I was applying to, then
-printed out the essay questions for each
-printed out financial aid requirements/applications for each
-printed out deadlines for each
and stuck it all in the college's folder. I also made one big table in Word that listed the college and its deadline. But I'm just a little OCD :p

I was originally planning on doing that...I was too lazy though, and right now I'm in the "we have to submit one of THOSE?!?!" phase

what are computers for! they do an amazing job at keeping folders organized. i also tried adopting strawberryred89's idea, but i admit that i was too lazy hah.

haha yea the folders idea makes it a lot easier...plus gives you a variety of fun rainbow colors to stare at while procrastinating on writing essays

keep an excel spreadsheet for organizing your deadlines, submissions, etc

I also opted to make a spreadsheet...I attempted to do the folder method, but it was just overwhelming. I also didn't feel like handwriting a chart into a notebook or anything like that.

Yay for spreadsheets. :)
