Is there a limit to how many letters of rec you can have?

Bump… :D

Recs from freshman yr & also from senior yr science teachers(physics) counts ?
I mean 2 recs of same subject, but different yr & different teachers :)

4 consecutive posts & no replies

No, the letter should be from someone who taught you while you were in high school, but does not have to be a high school teacher.

For transfers, from the admissions webpage:

You could submit one as an official letter and one as supplemental, but you will still need a letter from a humanities teacher.

That’s what I asked for.
The teacher whom am referring to didnt teach me any high school courses, but taught me college prep courses while I was in high school. So is her recs acceptable ?

Why don’t you contact MIT admissions and ask this question (or PM MITChris) and get the answer from MIT instead of trusting the answers of strangers on the internet … MIT will not mind the question.
