<p>I'm going to be declaring the math major soon, and on the L&S declaration petition, there is a line for Major adviser's signature. I have a professor in mind whom I would like as an adviser, but is there a specific list of professors that are advisers from which one chooses? </p>
<p>If so, does anyone know where to find this list?</p>

It looks like the L&S math advisors are Thomas Brown and Jennifer Sixt. Email one of them to set up an advising appointment to declare.</p>
<p>It seems like you will be individually assigned a Faculty Advisor? That professor will be signing your declaration form.</p>
