I know the minimum unit for UC is 60, but does it have a max. unit?
So like if i do more than the max. unit, i become not elligible for transferring?
It may have been mentioned in the transfer catalog, but I don't feel like going through the whole packet and the website.

Units I have:

28 Transferrable Units Already taken from last year in CC
21 Transferrable Units that I will be taking this Fall

29 Advanced Placement Units

Total 78 Units by the end of Fall

I plan on taking about 20 more units for Winter and Spring term.

Yes you can only transfer up to whatever is sophmore standing I beleive, I remember looking and wondering if I should transfer and I couldnt because I was over the limit.....I would go by the rule that most UC`s dont take junior or later transfers for a lot of majors.

no worries, mang. i'll be transferring with approx. 146 sem. units. they'll only accept however much for graduation, and the rest go to subject credit. no big deal. as long as you dont have any units from outside CC you're coooo dawg

edit: whoa, usc is another case. my advice does not apply to them-i plead ignorance.

I don't know of a minimum or maximum for USC.

I do know that USC likes to see at least 32 (semester) units done with good GPA and general ed plus writing requirements completed.

As for maximum, I don't know of any, but keep in mind that to graduate USC requires at absolute minimum 64 units be taken at USC, and all upper-division major courses must be taken at USC as well. So that's probably at least 2 years full time.
