One of the first things that I noticed about the Common Application was that it asks you to list your extracurricular activities in their order of importance. Does the order that one chooses for his/her ECs really matter very much to admissions officers? If so, are there any strategies for deciding on how to rank what you've done?

Personally, I’m putting the ones I was most involved in on top rather than how much I liked each one. I don’t really think it matters all that much, though.

you should definitely start with the ones that are most important to you.
