Is there a new rule on ritalin?

I was medically disqualified last year for not having been off ritalin for the required 12 months. Before I reapply, I was just wondering if DodMERB had changed the rules or if the rule still stands that you have to have been off ritalin for 12 months? If the rule hasn't changed, I think I may just pass this medical review!

buh-buh-buh-bump

Can you check with DoDMERB, who should know about any rules changes, or with your MALO? In the meantime, good luck, EP!

Its most likely up to the academy's waiver authority who will decide to waive you. The Docs at DoDMERB do not like rebuttling, even outside of 12 months, and prefer to leave it up to the academies waiver authority. Just be glad you don't have to deal with the Air Force's Waiver Authority.

you're saying I could still have problems outside of 12 months??
