Is there a point to taking SAT Math II if I'm majoring in social science?

I'm signed up to take math II and for two other subject tests, Literature and US History. I'm doing terrible on the math practice tests and its looking like I'll have no chance of getting over a 500-550. Because I'm not going to be applying to any major that involves math anywhere, would I be better off not taking it than having this blemish? If I decided not to take it, I would also have more time to devote to studying for Lit and USH.

Basically I'm just wondering if not taking a math/science subject test will hinder my application in any way at the most selective if I'm not applying to a math-related major.

Some social studies majors do make use of statistics, so they are not necessarily math-free.

Whether you should take Math Level II depends on the requirements of the schools you apply to.
