i have a 1390 SAT (680V and 710M), good ECs, 3.95GPA, and high 600s on 3 SAT 2s. is dartmouth at all feasible for me?

I just got in early with a 1370

I just got rejected with a 1420, 630, 660, 680... SATs aren't nearly everything, but Ivy admissions are a turkey shoot... noone knows who will get in once you reache a certain point. I say you're at or above that point, so I'd say you have a chance.

I got rejected with a 1450. If other parts of your application are strong, your SATs won't matter all that much, I'd imagine.

spyris, how much was your w. gpa?

i had a 97.5 three year average unweighted none of the courses at my school are weighted and there are no aps or honors 12 out of 403 rank

spyris is my code name, my real name is john and i went to roslyn highschool
i didnt take any aps cause i thout they was too diffacult
lets talk more on aim
my screenname is applefruits586

i actually got a 153o on the sat though

im just too lazy to actually put wor in at school

Omg You Go To Roslyn? I Went To Roslyn Last Year, But Moved!!!!!

If you're at the top of your class, have excellent ECs and recs, you have a shot. But an unhooked candidate with below a 1500 doesn't have a good shot.

does it really matter anymore? the original post was made nearly 2 years ago.
