Is there a post-graduate degree for civil engineering?

I'm an international student and want to apply for graduate school in the U.S. I'm new in this forum so I cannot find the civil engineering in the all those catogaries, only the engineering one. Can any one help me with choosing graduate schools in the major CE and give me recommandations?

The “Engineering” forum is for undergraduate engineering majors primarily. Go to the “Graduate School” forum for discussions that might be more relevant for you.

Most research universities with engineering colleges will have a graduate program in Civil Engineering. It is not really possible to give advice on which graduate schools to apply to, particularly wehn you provide no information about yourself. In any case, you need to do your own research. You can start at [PhDs.org: Jobs for PhDs, graduate school rankings, and career resources](http://phds.org) which is a compilation of data from the 2007 National Research Council survey. The data is somewhat old but the web page gives you a way of searching for schools which meet your criteria. Then you can go to the individual web sites and look into the programs in detail.

I know a lot of schools offer Masters in Structural Engineering, if that appeals to you.
