I sometimes search for my screen name to find threads on which I have posted and on which there has been recent activity. I did so yesterday with no problem. Today, there are no search results.
I also tried the advance search with my screen name as author and it gets no results. Again, this has worked in the past.
In fact, I liked the old CC interface where I got a list of threads in which I had posted and it showed those which have recent activity. I haven’t figured out how to use the new interface to do that.
I just tried searching for my screen name in the google search on the home page and that just says “Loading.”
I’ve done several searches this morning…and get “no matches”. Very odd. But not surprising.
@shawbridge, the server maintenance work done yesterday might have impacted some of the features you are talking about. Our team is aware of some ongoing issues and they are currently under review. We will get back with an official update beginning of next week. Thanks for your patience!
I have to ask - why is the community manager’s avatar in jail? Is it a glitch? I thought I knew what the bars meant.
We jailed him so that he could empathize with other jailed members!
Not really, it’s another tech glitch we are sorting out after the server move.
@frazzled1, as @roger_dooley specified, that was an admin issue we were able to fix with the help of the tech team. We are currently reviewing some other features that could have been impacted by the maintenance work done yesterday night. Hope to have that solve asap!
I thought the other thread, the pinned “***OFFICIAL THREAD TO REPORT PROBLEMS OR MAKE COMMENTS ABOUT NEW CC SITE,” was the venue for exchanging info. ? Is that one now dead wood?
adding: I had been hearing that there were some responses or updates on other threads. Just wondering if we should be inquiring somewhere other than that one.
