Are the students friendly and welcoming toward each other? It’s a pretty small school so I guess you will probably run into many familiar faces. Do they have school spirit/ are proud and excited to be a Barnard women/Columbia student?
@danascullys Current student here. Yes, students at Barnard are REALLY friendly and welcoming towards each other! There is a lot of Barnard pride and Columbia University school spirit. It is in NYC though, so urban schools tend to have less of a community than really isolated universities, but joining University clubs/sororities/societies can really help you find your community on campus
