is there a SMALL chance at NYU

<p>Hi. I go to a private highschool, and my GPA is average. MY school does not rank, but my numerical GPA is an 85% or a B to B+ (I think that is a 3.2-3.25). That is my cummulative gpa. I am in senior year right now, taking one AP class (Physcis), however, I have a 103 Average, so midyear report will be outstanding. My latest SAT scores are a 1490/2200. I also had family problems (very bad ones) to deal with since freshman year. Is there a chance for me at NYU? </p>

<p>At Arts & Science? You looks like a fairly competitive applicant. Your coursework is challenging and your SATs are stellar. Your only problem is a low GPA, but a strong upward trend could really help you out. </p>
