I’m unclear on this. From what I have read it seems that if you got a 1300 on the PSAT then you are projected by to do similarly on the SAT?
I believe that the 1300 is a prediction of what you would have gotten on the SAT if you had taken it on the same day that you took the PSAT. Since many students take the SAT a year later, they often score higher on the SAT than the PSAT because they are farther along in their studies and have perhaps done more test prep and practice tests.
@BunnyBlue thanks.
As related as any practice test score.
well PSAT is out of 1520 rather than 1600 so expect to do better
They are sufficiently related that combined performance results in merit scores.
Not sure if this helps but I got a 1310 on my PSAT, but a 1490 on the SAT
