Is there a student club like this?

<p>My friend asked me if there was a cooking club or a club for people who like to invent things? hehe I looked on the student list for her and didn't find anything unless I missed it, the list goes on forever geez. So are there any clubs like this? Thanks.</p>

<p>There's a cooking DE-Cal. A DE-Cal is a student-taught course that you can take for P/NP and it's usually only 1 or 2 units. They're usually a lot of fun and there are all sorts of DE-Cals offered. Check them out - <a href="http://www.decal.org%5B/url%5D"&gt;www.decal.org&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p>

<p>I saw a booth for a cooking club over in Sproul Plaza last week.</p>

<p>There's a cooking club, and it's pretty great. I think they meet every two weeks, and each time, a chef from a local restaurant comes to give a demonstration and I think the other students try it too. Then they have a lot of outings on weekends. I'm not sure...I haven't had time to get involved in it, but one of my friends is an officer in the club</p>

<p>Also, Unit 2 has a cooking club and they make meals during the big holidays.</p>
