Is there a way to cancel your score to a college that has already been sent your score?

I chose SLO as my free score recipient this year not thinking much about it. I did ok this year with mostly 4s despite having mostly 5s last year, but I also received a 1 on an exam. I am worried that this 1 will stick out as a red flag and be signal to strict college admission offices who may see this downward trend as a reason not to accept me. Is there anyway to remove this exam score so that colleges cannot see it?

Once the score is sent you can’t retract it. However, it doesn’t seem that SLO considers AP scores for admission (the vast majority of schools don’t).

Your 1 would just mean you won’t get any college credit for that course.
@Gumbymom ?

@Erin’s Dad” is correct. Also it is not necessary to send scores to any school until you are accepted and enrolled. Very few schools consider AP scores in the application review process.

@Gumbymom @“Erin’s Dad” Thank you for the advice. I feel better knowing that it won’t ruin my chances.
